Private James Robert Gibson. 241400. 7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William and Helen Gibson, of 40, Oak Rd., Scarborough; husband of Beatrice Alice Dawson (formerly Gibson), of 40, Trafalgar St. West, Scarborough. Killed 12 May 1917. Aged 24.
