Vauvillers is a village about 34 kilometres east of Amiens and north of Rosieres. Rosieres British Cemetery is in open country between Vauvillers and Rosieres.

There are now 60, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, a small number are unidentified. The body of one American airman has been removed. The cemetery covers an area of 436 square metres and is enclosed by a rubble wall.

2 soldiers of the Yorkshire Regiment are buried in this cemetery.

We are extremely grateful to Chris Cosgrove (<trainscpc@aol.com>) for photographing the cemetery and the graves of the Yorkshire Regiment soldiers.
