Of the names shown above, the following soldier who fell was in the Yorkshire Regiment;-
Serjeant John Gilmore. 8403. 6th Battalion Yorkshire
Regiment. Killed 21 August 1915.
Born Barnard Castle, Enlisted Richmond, Resided Barnard Castle (Durham).
Commemorated Panel 55 to 58, Helles Memorial.
Of those who survived, currently only one is known (at the moment)as having served with the Yorkshire Regiment;-
