The War Memorial for Pakenham (Suffolk) in St. Mary's Church is a brass plaque which commemorates the names of 29 men who lost their lives in the First World War.

5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Grandson of Harry and Louisa Bray, of The Street, Pakenham, Bury St. Edmund's. Killed 17 November 1916. Aged 24.
Enlisted Malton, Resided Whenby Terrington (Yorks).
Buried ST. SEVER CEMETERY EXTENSION, ROUEN.
