Samuelsons Workingmans Club is on Parliament Road, Middlesbrough. The club was built in 1905. However, the club is no longer in use as such. The building has been purchased by a group of the Muslim community and it is no longer possible to view this War Memorial.

Of the 76 names commemorated on the memorial, 38 are for men who served in the Yorkshire Regiment. Of interest is that two of these Yorkshire Regiment soldiers were commissioned from the ranks.

We are very grateful to Bolckow who was able to photograph this memorial before the club was closed, and for allowing this website to use his photos of the memorial.
