Private Herbert ("Bertie") Blakey. TR/5/104548. 4th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, attached to Training Reserve. Son of Fred and Annie Blakey. Born at Grassington. Died at home 18 October 1917. Aged 18.
Born Grassington, Enlisted Harrogate, Resided Grassington.
Buried LINTON-IN-CRAVEN (ST. MICHAEL) CHURCHYARD.

Lance Serjeant John Thomas Limmer, 11491. 8th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Robert and Mary Limmer, of Grassington, Skipton, Yorks; husband of Rose Webster (formerly Limmer), of 24, Pearson St., Newport, Middlesbrough, Yorks. Killed 10 July 1916. Aged 33.
Born Normanby (Eston, Yorks), Enlisted Middlesbrough, Resided Guisborough.
Commemorated Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
