The War Memorial for Kettering, Northants

The War Memorial for Kettering stands in the centre of the town surrounded by the one-way system just up from the old Market on Sheep Street. The memorial was unveiled in 1921. There are upwards of 700 First World War names commemorated on the wall plaques behind the memorial as well as those from the Second World War. Among those commemorated for the Second World War is Marine William Henry Mills, one of the "Cockleshell Heroes".

Four soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment are commemorated on the Kettering War Memorial.
