The British Legion Roll of Honour for Hinderwell District was previously displayed in the Hinderwell British Legion Branch Building. When it closed down, it was moved to the new Hinderwell Village Hall in 2004, at the request of branch members.
The inscription reads: “WE WILL REMEMBER THEM”
The Roll of Honour remains in its original condition, but with ageing, the wood has darkened and some of the names are difficult to read.
It can be viewed upon request, made in advance and in writing to:
The Trustees, Hinderwell Village Hall, 7, Runswick Lane, Hinderwell, Saltburn-by-the-Sea , TS13 5HP
