The War Memorial for Goosnargh in Lancashire is inside the Church of St. Mary. Beneath the Memorial is a book in which the Roll of Honour lis shown, listing all men from the parish who fought in the War.
The memorial includes the name of one soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment amongst the 45 names listed on it. Curiously, although this same soldier is shown in the Roll of Honour, this book does not show him as one of the fallen.
