Richard Roberts (<richard.nsw@googlemail.com>) has drawn attention to the name of one soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment on the Glossop (Derbyshire) War Memorial. The Yorkshire Regiment name on the Glossop Memorial is;-

Private James Bray. 36187. 7th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly 107113 York and Lancaster Regt. Killed 6 November 1916.
Born Glossop (Derbyshire), Enlisted Sheffield, Resided Glossop.
Commemorated Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL.
