The War Memorial Ferryhill is located in the gardens in front of Ferryhill Town Hall. The memorial consists of a statue of a British soldier standing on a plinth. The names of those commemorated are recorded on the two sides and the rear of the plinth, with the names being incised in gold. The names of 7 men who lost their lives in the Second World War are also recorded.

The front of the memorial is dedicated "To the Glory of God and in Thankful Remembrance of the men of Ferry Hill who gave Their Lives for Their Country in the Great War 1914 - 1918 and in the Second World War 1939 - 1945.
