The War Memorial for Driffield is a stone cross with a tapering octagonal shaft. It is located outside All Saints' Church, Middle Street North in Great Driffield.

133 names of those who lost their lives in the First World War are commemorated on the memorial, together with 46 names from the Second World War. Amongst the names commemorated are 39 for soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment.

Private George William Abram, 1203. 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of George Robert and Sarah Jane Abram, of 76, Middle St. North, Driffield, Yorks. Killed 15 September 1916. Aged 21.

Serjeant William Allison Barnett, MM. 23520. 150th Coy Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), formerly 1885 Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the late Waters H. Barnett and of Matilda E. Barnett, of Bridlington, Yorks. Killed 15 September 1916. Aged 27.

Private Herbert Berriman. 1901. 5th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the late John and Ellen Berriman, of Driffield, Yorks.; husband of Lucy Alice Brighton (formerly Berriman), of The Elms, Roos, Hull. Killed 25 May 1915. Aged 26.

Private Nicholas Cawthorn(e). 2170. 5th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Nicholas & Fanny Cawthorn, of 10, River Head, Great Driffield. Died at home 7 April 1917. Aged 33.
