Depot the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of George William and Annie Weldrake, of Moorville, Moorends, Thorne. Died at home 11 April 1917. Aged 20.
Born Thorne (Yorks), Enlisted Doncaster, Resided Thorne.
Buried THORNE (ST. NICHOLAS) CHURCHYARD EXTENSION.

Additional information from Tony Brookes;-
He died from pneumonia, at home, 3 weeks after enlisting.
John Weldrake's father was a butcher, and he may have worked for him.
