Yorkshire Regiment War Graves, - Morden Cemetery, Surrey

Morden Cemetery, in the North West corner of Morden Parish, is South of Raynes Park Station and East of Motspur Park Station. A Cross of Sacrifice is erected near the chapels in the middle of the cemetery and a Screen Wall records the names of those graves which are not marked by a headstone.

There are 271 graves from both World Wars, - 76 burials from the First World War and 195 from the Second.

One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is buried in this cemetery.

Private John William Seeley. 60239. 18th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Died at home 7 February 1919. Aged 42.
Born Barrow (Suffolk), Resided Wimbledon (London).
