Morden Cemetery, Surrey

Morden Cemetery, in the North West corner of Morden Parish, is South of Raynes Park Station and East of Motspur Park Station. A Cross of Sacrifice is erected near the chapels in the middle of the cemetery and a Screen Wall records the names of those graves which are not marked by a headstone.

There are 271 graves from both World Wars, - 76 burials from the First World War and 195 from the Second.

One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is buried in this cemetery.

Born Barrow (Suffolk), Resided Wimbledon (London).
