The Easington Church Burial Ground is near the Church; it adjoins a more
recent cemetery. It contains 8 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-18 war and
also three unknown French sailors. An image from Google Earth is shown at
the bottom of this page, which illustrates its position relative to the church.
There are two soldiers who served with the Yorkshire Regiment buried in this
cemetery.
We are extremely grateful to Norman Cummings (<norman_cummings@hotmail.co.uk>)
for providing the photograph of the headstones and of the cemetery.
