Darlington West Cemetery contains 59 Commonwealth burials of the First World War and 126 from the Second. The war graves plot also contains one non-war burial and there four war graves of other nationalities in the cemetery.

There are two men of the Yorkshire Regiment who are buried in this cemetery, - one from very early on in the War (presumably as a result of a training accident).
There is also one soldiers of the Green Howards in the cemetery.

Gerry France (<gerryfrance@tiscali.co.uk>) has provided the photos of the graves of the men of the Yorkshire Regiment and of the Cross of Sacrifice for the cemetery, located close to the War Graves plot.
