Austwick Church Cemetery is about 1/2 mile from the centre of Austwick on the road that heads South West to the main A65 road. A view of the cemetery taken from Google Earth is shown below.

One soldier of the Yorkshire Regiment is buried here, together with another soldier of the First World War.

Private Joseph Wood. 26298. 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of Mary Frankland Wood. Died at home 17 February 1916. Aged 22.
Born Dalehead (Lancs), Enlisted Skipton, Resided Gargrave (Leeds).
