The War Memorial for Aldeburgh (Suffolk) is situated within a small memorial garden on the seafront, and is in the form of a Latin cross on a five-stepped octagonal base.

84 names are commemorated for the First World War and 26 for the Second World War, with an additional 7 Second World War Civilian names on the memorial.

The memorial's dedication, and a transcription of all the names on the memorial (together with biographies) can be found on the Roll of Honour website.

One Officer of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on the memorial.

2nd Lieutenant Frederick Welford. 3rd Bn. attd. 6th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment. Killed 9 October 1917.
Commemorated on Panels 52 to 52 and 162A, TYNE COT MEMORIAL.
