Steve John (<http://www.wwwmp.org/>) runs a website set up to remember all of the men and women of the County of Ceredigion (Cardiganshire) in West Wales who died in both World Wars of the 20th Century, - http://www.wwwmp.org/. This is an extraordinarily comprehensive website.

Amongst the memorials is that for Aberystwyth University, on which is commemorated one Officer of the Yorkshire Regiment. Aberystwyth University was founded in 1872 as University College Wales, Aberystwyth. The names of 102 students, former students or teachers of the University who died in the First World War are commemorated on a carved oak panel. One Officer of the Yorkshire Regiment is commemorated on this memorial.

Captain Edward Dickinson. 11th Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of the late D. D. and Jane Dickinson. Killed 28 June 1915. Aged 29.
